As the name implies.............. this website is dedicated to accordion events and to those who love attending accordion festivals, workshops, concerts, and camps. Look, listen and enjoy! Perhaps I will have an opportunity to work with "you" in putting together a successful event in your town. We will have an affair to remember!
Hi folks................ my name is Griff and I started doing this kind of work 3 years ago as the event photographer for the Leavenworth and Kimberly Accordion Competitions.
As I travelled and was exposed to more accordion festivals, I began to see how, in many cases, additional focus could spotlight the events and make them more interesting. I believe that a well planned event will make a better experience for those putting the event together as well as those who come to be entertained. Interesting event photos and slide shows, a newsy newsletter and an opportunity to effectively spread the word will add interest to a well planned event.
Recently I had the great pleasure of working with the Wallace Chamber of Commerce in Wallace, Idaho. Together we put on the Historic Wallace Accordion Festival. It was a first for this small quaint mining town in Idaho, but it will not be the last. All were overjoyed with the results, the entertainment, and the fun which was evident from everyone.
As you browse Accordion Squeeze Play, you will see photos of past events, portraits of some of the most recognizable names in the accordion entertainment world, portraits of dedicated accordion players, concert cameos, candid photos, slide shows and short stories about recent and future happenings.
